Last night our family had the opportunity to attend the Unsung Hero Awards sponsored by Cancer Family Care. What an inspiring event, full of hundreds of patients and caregivers who have been in this fight together. The highlight was seeing Julie’s smile when the place erupted in applause after hearing she was cancer free.

Special thanks to everyone at Cancer Family Care, along with the breast cancer team at UC Health. We’ve also had wonderful support from the Karen Wellington Foundation, as well as the Pink Ribbon Girls.
