Help me ride toward a cure
By John Bach
I’m taking part in my second Ride Cincinnati in a couple of weeks, and I could use your help raising funds for cancer research and cancer care. Last year I rode 15 miles for the President’s Office at UC, and we were able to raise more than $2,500.
More importantly, the grassroots cycling fundraiser topped $1.5 million total, with all of those funds staying in Cincinnati to fund cancer care and allow local researchers at the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center to work toward discovering new treatments. Nearly all of us know at least one person touched by cancer. For our family, this is personal, and UC offered incredible treatment and care to Julie during her breast cancer battle. You can read about her latest update here.
I’m riding 15 miles starting from Sawyer Point on September 14. If you want to help me honor Julie’s fight with any size gift, please sponsor a mile here. Like last year, all donors will be recognized on the blog and on the Ride Cincinnati website.
