Join our journey to fight cancer

By John Bach

UPDATE: The donation period has ended. Thanks to our donors, we raised more than $2,500 toward cancer care and treatment as part of the 2023 Ride Cincinnati event.

I’ve not ridden a bike more than a mile or so in at least 10 years.

Today I rode 14 miles in preparation for next Sunday’s “Ride Cincinnati” fundraiser to help fight cancer. I’m representing the President’s Office at the University of Cincinnati, where I work. But I’m riding 100% for my wife, Julie, who is now 18 months cancer free after her battle with breast cancer.

If you want to support my ride and help me honor Julie’s fight, please donate here. Every amount helps, and every penny goes to cancer research and care at the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center. These are the experts who helped Julie at every step.

My goal is 15 donors — one for each mile. Donate now and claim your part of a worthy journey. Each donor will be recognized on the blog and on the Ride Cincinnati website. Special thanks to those who have given already.
